Lamp Post and Mailbox Post Installation Instructions

1. Dig the hole for the post approximately 6 inches deeper than the PVC pipe.
   - Note: As you dig the hole where the wire is coming out of the ground, be VERY careful not to damage the wire as you are digging the hole!!
   - ELECTRIC POWER TO THE WIRE SHOULD BE TURNED OFF !!
2. Thread wire through the pipe before adding concrete. Add 8 inches of concrete to the bottom of the hole.
   - Recommend using TWO (2) 80-lb. bags of concrete mix.
3. Place post in the hole with the wire threaded through the post.
4. Continue filling the hole with concrete mix. Make sure the bottom of the post is 1 inch above the grade, as shown above in Step 4 Diagram.
